Body odor is an unpleasant smell that our bodies can give off when bacteria living on our skin break down sweat into certain acids. some people thought it to be the smell of bacteria growing on the body, but it really is the result of bacteria breaking down protein into certain acids. The apocrine sweat glands are mainly responsible for body odor because the sweat they produce is high in protein which bacteria can break down easily.


We know that body odor is something no one likes. It is very unpleasant as well. If you are looking to stay smelling fresh for longer periods of time, try using some natural remedies to solve your body odor problem quickly.

Here I am giving you few ways to effectively deal with it.

1. Keep Yourself Clean

Shower at least twice a day morning and afternoon. It will wash away sweat as well as minimize the number of bacteria on your body. Sweat has no odor by itself.But when microscopic bacteria present on the skin mix with sweat, they multiply quickly. If you sweat normally, you might have more chances of body odor than people who sweat too much. That's because, when people sweat excessively, the sweat tends to wash away the odor-causing bacteria. So shower twice a day can minimize body odor.

2. Use Antibacterial Soap


Antibacterial soap is a type of cleaning product that contains chemical ingredients that kill bacteria. Choose a good antibacterial soap. Washing thoroughly with an antibacterial soap will reduce the bacterial growth, in turn, reducing the odor.

3. Dry yourself completely after bathing

Moisture is what the bacteria like a lot. After bathing be sure you dry yourself completely. Towel off and be sure you dry any areas where you sweat a lot. If your skin is dry odor causing bacteria cannot multiply easily.


4. Apply powerful Deodorants or Antiperspirants

When you are clean and dry, use a powerful deodorant or antiperspirant on your underarms. Deodorants mask the smell of bacteria on your skin. Antiperspirants contain aluminum chloride a chemical that reduces perspiration and also contains a deodorant.
Stronger deodorants and antiperspirants are available without a prescription. Select Deodorants or Antiperspirants that is stronger. Use this product twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
  
5. Replace your dress

When you're sweating heavily change your dress as soon as possible. Fresh clothes help keep body odor down. If you have foot odor change your socks frequently. Use deodorant powders in your shoes, replace insoles frequently, and go barefoot if possible.

6. Skip the foods that sweat you more

What you eat can have a good or a bad effect on your body. Foods that tend to make you sweat more, such as hot peppers or other spicy foods, will cause body odor. And the aroma of foods like onions or garlic can go in the sweat, making you smell bad. Caffeinated drinks or alcohol may also cause you to sweat more.
